Sharmi Albrechtsen Joins Ida Institute

Naerum, DK, September 16 – Ida Institute announced today that Sharmi Albrechtsen has joined the non-profit educational institute as a communications specialist. Albrechtsen brings over 10 years of experience in marketing communications and public relations to her new position, working with such companies as Bristol Myers Squibb, Ferring Pharmaceuticals and Janssen-Cilag. Most recently, she planned, initiated and coordinated global PR strategies, activities and events for ALK- Abell A/S and managed Corporate Social Responsibility programs for Sonion A/S. A former reporter for the Washington Post, Albrechtsen holds a Masters in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, a Masters in Health Communications from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania.
