Madeline grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina, and took quite the creative detour before landing in healthcare, spending time in Vancouver, BC, studying special effects makeup and prosthetic design. It was the warmth of the medical world that ultimately drew her in, and from her very first interactions with the team at Allison Audiology, she knew she'd found her people.

Madeline began her journey with Allison Audiology as a Patient Care Coordinator, and through her dedication to both our patients and team, along with her passion for patient advocacy, she earned her way into her current role as Office Manager. 

As a Patient Care Coordinator, Madeline is often the first voice patients hear, and she takes that seriously. She specializes in the side of healthcare that can feel the most intimidating: insurance. She works hard to verify benefits, explain coverage clearly, and handle the billing details so patients can walk in focused on their hearing health rather than their paperwork. Her goal is simple: she wants every patient to feel like they just had the best doctor's appointment of their life.

What makes Madeline especially good at her job is how genuinely she connects with people. She remembers the details, your pets, your family, your favorite Houston restaurants, and those small moments of connection are what she loves most about the work. Seeing family members of her own struggle with communication challenges gave her a personal window into how frustrating hearing loss can be, and it fuels her commitment to making sure every patient feels heard, informed, and at ease from the very first phone call.

Outside the office, Madeline loves drawing, cooking, and exploring Houston's food scene. Ask her about Trendy Dumpling or Aga's and she'll happily talk your ear off. She also enjoys spending time with loved ones, attending music festivals, and any water activity she can find, from floating the river to SCUBA diving. And she still shares her life with Mia, her beloved chi-weenie (that's a dachshund-chihuahua mix, for the uninitiated).
